Theron Capital, operating as a group of companies, was established in 2004.

One of the illustrious cases in our track record is a series of high profile and successful international capital market transactions undertaken by New World Development (listed on the Hong Kong Exchange) for its China real estate businesses.

As the exclusive strategic adviser to Shui On Land, Theron Capital was instrumental in organizing and tapping on our network of resources in China and overseas and contributed to the success of a series of fundraising by Shui On Land for its series of "Tiandi" projects including "Shanghai Xintiandi", the internationally renowned real estate located in the center of Shanghai, and its initial public offering in Hong Kong, then the largest China private real estate listing on the Hong Kong Exchange.

A key member of our core team was the Chief Operating Officer for Asia Pacific of HSBC Investment Banking. Another key member brings tremendous investment banking track record, sharp legal mind with distinguished qualifications as English barrister and Singapore advocate & solicitor, and network of financial analysts and fund managers globally as a Chartered Financial Analyst. Our core team also includes investment professionals who have formerly worked for one of the largest private equity fund managers in China including one who held the CEO position who spearheaded its >US$1 billion fund management business in Shanghai.
